Services
Where I can help.
I work with individuals and couples across a range of concerns. Whatever brings you in, you'll work with someone who has genuine depth in this area, not a generalist covering every presenting issue from a distance. Sessions are available in person in Victoria and Edmonton, and virtually across BC and Alberta.
General & Targeted Concerns
Individual Therapy
Neurobiologically grounded. Genuinely tailored.
Anxiety, life transitions, patterns you can't seem to break, or just a persistent sense that something isn't working. I work with adults across a broad range of concerns.

Couples Therapy
Rebuilding connection. Improving communication.
Relationships are complicated, and stress, trauma, and sexual health challenges have a way of amplifying whatever cracks are already there.

Sex Therapy & Sexual Health
Evidence-based. Clinically grounded.
Sex therapy is a conversation about something that affects a huge part of how people experience themselves and their relationships — low desire, dysfunction, identity, and more.

Sexual & Pelvic Pain
Vulvodynia, vaginismus, vestibulodynia & more
Real conditions that are more common than most people realize, and genuinely treatable. I help people understand what's happening, navigate the healthcare system, and build a life not defined by pain.

Trauma Therapy
EMDR & Accelerated Resolution Therapy
Trauma often lives in the body long before it shows up in conversation. EMDR and ART target how traumatic memories are stored neurologically — without requiring you to recount them in detail.

Infidelity & Relationship Recovery
Without a predetermined outcome.
Whether you're trying to understand what happened, decide whether to stay, or rebuild what's been broken — this work requires space for the full complexity of betrayal.

Most people aren't certain
which service they need.
That's completely normal. The concerns that bring people to therapy rarely fit neatly into a single category. If you're unsure, get in touch and describe what's going on — I'll let you know what makes the most sense.
Get in TouchIf you're not sure what's wrong
Start with Individual Therapy. The first few sessions are often about understanding the full picture before deciding where to focus. You don't need a clear presenting problem to begin.
If the relationship is the issue
Couples Therapy, Sex Therapy, or Infidelity Recovery depending on what's happening. These often overlap — a couple dealing with infidelity may also need help with communication and intimacy. We address what's actually there.
If you're experiencing physical pain
Sexual and Pelvic Pain is its own specialty. If you've been dismissed by other providers or told the pain is psychological without any real follow-up, I work specifically in this area and can help you make sense of what's happening.
If something happened that won't leave
Trauma Therapy using EMDR or ART. These approaches work at the level of how memories are stored neurologically — which means you don't need to recount every detail to make real progress.
What to Expect
What actually happens
in a first session.
You talk. I listen — carefully.
The first session is about understanding what brought you in and what you're hoping to get out of this. I ask questions. I'm direct. I'm also not running a checklist — I'm trying to get a real sense of what's going on for you specifically.
We figure out if this is the right fit.
Fit matters. If after the first session you don't think I'm the right person for the work, I offer a full refund — no questions asked. I'd rather you find someone who actually helps than continue out of inertia.
We talk about what happens next.
By the end of the session you'll have a clearer sense of what we'd focus on, how often we'd meet, and what the work might look like. You won't leave with just a follow-up appointment — you'll leave with some actual traction.
Who I Work With
Honest about
fit.
Not every therapist is right for every person. Here's a straightforward picture of who tends to get the most out of working with me — and who might be better served elsewhere.
Good fit
- Adults who want to understand what's actually happening, not just feel better temporarily
- People dealing with sexual health concerns who've struggled to find a clinician who takes them seriously
- Couples willing to look honestly at what's not working — including their own part in it
- Anyone who can handle — and wants — direct, honest feedback
- People who've tried therapy before and felt like something was missing
May not be the right fit
- Anyone in active crisis requiring immediate or intensive support — I don't provide crisis services
- Those looking for a purely supportive, non-directive approach without any challenge or framework
- Children or adolescents — I work with adults only
- Anyone who needs a therapist available between sessions for ongoing support
Where We Meet
In person or virtual —
both work.
Research consistently shows that online therapy is as effective as in-person for most concerns. The right choice usually comes down to logistics and personal preference.
