SERVICES

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a confidential, collaborative space to explore concerns, gain insight, and develop tools for navigating life more effectively. I work with adults seeking support for a wide range of issues, including stress, anxiety, mood difficulties, relationships, identity, life transitions, and personal growth, as well as concerns related to reproductive and sexual health such as fertility challenges, pregnancy and postpartum experiences, pregnancy loss, sexual pain, changes in desire or intimacy, and reproductive decision-making. My approach is informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), existential therapy, and emotion-focused/process-experiential work, and is always adapted to best suit each client’s needs, goals, and circumstances, offering therapy that is thoughtful, flexible, and grounded in evidence and experience.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy offers support for partners navigating communication challenges, emotional disconnection, conflict, intimacy concerns, infidelity, or major life transitions. I work collaboratively with couples to better understand relationship patterns, strengthen emotional safety, and develop more effective and respectful ways of relating. I welcome and have experience working with couples across a range of relationship structures and identities, including LGBTQ+ partners, lifestyle, and consensually non-monogamous relationships. I have training in the Gottman Method, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Attachment Based Couples Therapy. My approach is inclusive, non-judgmental, and grounded in evidence-based psychological care, with the aim of helping partners move out of stuck or distressing cycles and toward greater clarity, connection, and understanding.

Sexual Health Therapy

Sexual health therapy focuses on concerns related to sexual functioning, desire, pain, confidence, and intimacy. This includes support for individuals and couples experiencing pelvic, vulvar, or sexual pain, as well as anxiety or distress related to sexual experiences. My work integrates psychological, relational, and nervous-system–informed approaches to help clients better understand their experiences, reduce fear and avoidance, and reconnect with choice, pleasure, and intimacy at a pace that feels safe and respectful.

Online Workshop: Psychological Approaches to Sexual Pain

This self-paced, psychologist-led workshop is designed for individuals experiencing sexual or pelvic pain who want accessible, evidence-based information and tools. The workshop explores the psychological and nervous-system factors that influence pain, fear, and avoidance, while offering practical strategies to support understanding, confidence, and healing. It can be used independently or alongside medical care and therapy, and is intended to empower participants with knowledge, language, and skills to better advocate for themselves and their wellbeing.

EMDR / ART Trauma Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) are evidence-based approaches for treating trauma and PTSD. These therapies can be particularly helpful for individuals impacted by single-incident or complex trauma, including veterans and first responders. The focus is on reducing the emotional intensity of distressing memories and helping the nervous system process experiences that remain “stuck,” allowing clients to feel more grounded, present, and in control in their daily lives.

My Approach

I bring a relationship-based, warm, and direct style to therapy, and when appropriate, I use humour to help ease anxiety and make difficult conversations feel more approachable—always with the aim of helping clients better understand their experiences, feel less alone, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change.

I provide individual and couples counselling, addressing a range of concerns, with a clinical specialization in sexual health—particularly issues related to sexual pain and low desire. My work also includes supporting individuals navigating reproductive health concerns, including fertility challenges and the emotional and psychological impacts of pregnancy and the postpartum period.
